Our Story

KC Media Publishing was launched when long-time friends DeAnna Kane & Leslie Callaway decided to create a magazine that paired with their love of extending hospitality and women's outreach. Thus was the birth of their first publication, Heart of Hospitality Magazine. Women have been an integral part of these ladies' lives. Their passion for encouraging, supporting, and lifting women, no matter their stage of life, inspired them to begin a publishing company owned and run by women, about women, for women.

They partnered in authoring the book, Just the Basics: Manners made easy. This vital book re-introduces the art of basic etiquette that seems to be missing in today's society. An accompanying comprehensive curriculum will be released soon.

They have also released their second magazine title, The Empowered Magazine, a life-preparedness, emergency preparedness magazine focused on sharing knowledge for women to make the best choices for themselves and their families in any situation.

New publications are also scheduled to be released in early 2023. You won't want to miss what is coming next!
